Build A Great Website

July 18th 2010 07:59

Building a site is like any form of construction, you need the right tools to do the job properly. It has taken me years of rebellion against paying and owning such equipment and it has cost me dearly.

For years I bought bits and pieces to do various jobs on the net and it was all hotch potch. Running back and forth between companies to get a program to put on some code or other to take money online, or to lead visitors to other of my sites to get more information on something else, was heart breaking.

It all cost heaps and now with many systems and inefficient site building templates, and so on, one of the most joyful times in my life has been being introduced to what could be described as a web master's dream software. This technology, which has been available for years and is highly praised by the best online, requires no html knowledge or anything else much for that matter, yet you can be up and running with a professional looking site in something like 10 minutes after taking the tutorial and watching the video. How good is that?

In my stupidity html was something learned and understood, not that it has not been worthwhile. But it presented a headache I did not have to go through.

With good software you can build a site of such great quality that soon it will have you doing it for others. Many who have made a fortune on the net have started out building a site or two for themselves and then offering to do the same for businesses and work at home affiliates . A professional site will help you look and act like a professional and others come to you for advice and ask you to do the same for them. You attract business to yourself and word of mouth is the best form of advertising. In other words you can have it made.

In this poor economy with huge numbers of unemployed people are looking to the Internet for answers. Some have no income and no prospects but they can canvass businesses in their area to build web sites. Such enterprise can be very rewarding as many marketers see the web as a place to expand and grow. It is something you hear about in the forums over and over. Some have made more in a week than they did in a month at their old job. Some even do better than that.

So good equipment is an investment in your life-style, family and future. Some software is just far superior and is well worth the few dollars it might cost to do the job properly. But the newest version of this particular software is unbelievably cheap for what it does. Everything needs for a professional website, with interactive pages, members, affiliates and managing them, and taking money online, is included.

It is so great to find a professional builder that does not cost the earth and yet does everything required of it.

Nice little piece - that says so much without being verbose.

Always wanted to get into web-building given my background in media but never quite got around to it.

In the processe of securing the new CS5 to teach myself Dreamweaver - but will check out your link as well - sounds promising.

Thanks for the heads up.
