Id Tech, the developer has announced ‘Doom 4’ and will be arrived in 2016. Prepare to shoot plenty of demons in the face this spring on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One when Doom 4 hits. It’s predictably gorgeous and based on the gameplay demo onstage at the historic Dolby Theater, its environments look a bit more open than we’ve previously seen. Of course there’s a massive, powerful shotgun because what would Doom be without shotguns and chainsaws? And plenty of gore and crap-your-pants soundscape for that matter? It wouldn’t be Doom.
The legacy lives on with the fourth installment of the popular FPS game from id Software. This next-generation Doom features single-player and multiplayer modes, as well as an advanced Snap-Map stage design feature for fast and comprehensive stage creation that can be quickly shared online with other Doom players.
On June 23, 2009, ZeniMax Media, best known for Bethesda Softworks, got id Software and announced that all future id games will be published by Bethesda Softworks, including Doom 4 in addition to Rage and future Quake titles. Carmack said at Quakecon 2011 that once Rage shipped its development team would move to Doom 4 to speed up on that project. Doom 4 might also feature dedicated servers unlike Rage. Doom 4 was intended to run at 60 frames per second with state-of-the-art hardware. In 2009, he revealed that the multiplayer component is being developed separately and will run at 60 frames per second. Carmack stated in 2011 that “you can’t have 30 guys crawling all over you at 60 frames per second at this graphics technology level because it’s painful. So, in single-player we can have 30 demons crawling all over you on there.
You have come here for a reason. The Union Aerospace Corporation’s massive research facility on Mars is overwhelmed by fierce and powerful demons, and only one person stands between their world and ours. As the lone DOOM Marine, you’ve been activated to do one thing – kill them all. Doom features a single-player mode, in addition to multiple multiplayer modes which include traditional four-player death match, domination, freeze tag, and clan arena. The engine is this game is used ‘Id Tech 6’ and it is totally optimized with fascinated graphics and we hope that this part will be better than ‘Doom 3.’
It will be released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2016. After years in development with almost no news from id Software, it was restarted completely in 2011 with Bethesda Softworks serving as the publisher for the game.
