Xiaomi Mi 6 Will Launch In April With Snapdragon 835 SoC


Xiaomi – the Chinese smartphone manufacturer company seems to be all set to finally launch its much rumored smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 6. The company has plans to launch the upcoming smartphone is April 16.


We have known that the Mi 6 has been anticipated for quite a long time now and after some week it will be announced. The reports claim that the smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor. Apparently, it is expected that the Xiaomi would not be under clocking the processor, contrary to the rumors that have surfaced in the past, suggesting that the company would under clock the processor on the upcoming flagship.

The rumors suggest that the Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone would be featuring a 5.2 inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with 2.5D curved glass. Regarding the camera, the phone will sport a 19 megapixel camera on the rear side of the device, which is capable of capturing slow motion videos at 960 frames per second at 720p.

Additionally, it is being said that the upcoming smartphone would be entering market in three different storage variants: entry level with 4GB of RAM plus 32 GB of internal storage, mid-end model with 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of built-in storage and the last top-end model will come with 6GB of high speed RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. It is expected that the smartphone’s price tag would start from around CNY 1,999.
